I always love and appreciate when there is a riddim, particularly one born within the last half-decade or so, which just, for one reason or another, sticks with me and remains one of my favourites. The Gang War is the head, in my opinion, of the new era of dancehall riddim production which features BIG and downright EVIL sounding riddims which are now becoming more and more popular (also see the Shootout, the Mission and a whole heap of riddims created by Big Ship's Stephen `di Genius' McGregor) these days, when you're looking for THE king of that style, check the Gang War and in a few years' time, it'll probably be a classic.
