Walking
Locally around Parc Newyd there are miles of quiet country lanes to explore with tranquil villages and inviting pubs scattered amongst them, perfect for a relaxing day out with the family or a romantic weekend break.
The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path is a long distance circular route that follows most of the island’s coastline and is part of the Wales Coast Path, the world’s first uninterrupted route along a national coast.
The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path falls within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that covers 95% of the coast. It passes through landscape that includes a mixture of farmland, coastal heath, dunes, salt-marsh, foreshore, cliffs and a few small pockets of woodland; this includes a National Nature Reserve.
The Path is clearly marked throughout its length with the circular, blue tern logo or white shell.
